Construction is now underway on Stratford Mall’s food court redevelopment project.
The $1 million redevelopment will modernize the food court experience with updated finishes, enhanced seating areas, improved natural light, and the future home of Pür & Simple, a new full-service breakfast and brunch restaurant coming to Stratford Mall.
Construction began on July 1, 2026 and is expected to be completed in Fall 2026.
Royal Wok will remain open and accessible throughout the project.

July 1, 2026: Construction has officially begun on Stratford Mall’s food court redevelopment project.
What’s Coming
The redevelopment project includes:
- A new Pür & Simple restaurant
- Updated seating and gathering spaces
- New curtain wall glass and improved natural light
- Modern finishes throughout the food court
- Improvements to the overall layout and guest experience
During Construction
While work is underway, portions of the food court area will be temporarily closed.
Stratford Mall will maintain access to surrounding businesses wherever possible, with signage and wayfinding in place to help visitors navigate the centre safely and conveniently.
